These premium headers are CAD designed with a one-piece laser cut exhaust flange, CNC mandrel bent tubes, and a leak-free ball and socket (dome) style collector, for unrestricted airflow. They’re pressure tested to ensure trouble-free performance, come with gaskets and mounting hardware, and available in eye-catching chrome or durable silver ceramic finish. A BBK short X-pipe, H-pipe or Y-pipe is required to connect to the exhaust system.

When you want to make the most horsepower, long tube headers have the tube length to provide the power that shorty headers just can’t deliver. Optimal cylinder scavenging, where the exhaust pulse helps draw the exhaust gas from the primary tube as well as draw the incoming intake charge into the cylinder, is most pronounced on long tube headers. Long tube headers are much more effective with longer cam durations and greater valve overlap, which is why they are recommended for “built” engines. The only caveats to long tube headers are that since the collector is lower on the header, ground clearance can be an issue, particularly on lowered vehicles, and fitment usually requires modifications to the exhaust system. However, the latter isn’t a problem with these headers if a BBK short X-pipe, H-pipe or Y-pipe is used to connect to the exhaust system.

When you want the best long tube headers, you can’t do better than BBK Long Tube headers. BBK uses CAD (Computer Aided Design) software to develop each system. Primary tube and collector diameter are optimized for each application, and every system is dyno-tested to make sure it makes the most rear wheel horsepower possible. Once the design is finalized, BBK brings blueprints to reality using the latest manufacturing techniques. All tubes are CNC mandrel bent to ensure the tubing maintains its diameter throughout the bend. Mandrel bending ensures that exhaust flow will be consistent for the length of the tube and CNC control ensures that every bend is made according to design. The tubes are attached to a strong and durable 1-piece laser cut exhaust flange, and the ball and socket, dome style collector, can be attached to the aforementioned mid pipes without a gasket. And before it leaves the factory, every header is pressure tested to make sure it will be trouble free.

BBK Long Tube Headers come with all necessary gaskets and hardware, as well as detailed instructions to guide you through the installation. Every header set is backed by a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship, as long as the product was installed according to BBK guidelines and not used for racing.
