Traditional wiper blades have a spring loaded frame that provides excellent windshield contact across the entire wiper blade. However, this same frame design can clog with ice and snow, causing gaps and streaking, and make winter driving hazardous. A beam blade will not clog with ice and snow, but its single pre-sprung steel beam down the center of the blade can allow the ends of the blade to lift off the windshield, for less than ideal windshield coverage during the rain.

Michelin combined the best features of both style wiper blades to create the Stealth™ Hybrid Smart Flex Wiper Blade. The Stealth Hybrid’s independent suspension adjusts to your windshield’s shape, to provide strong contact with the windshield all the way to the ends of the blade, and its Smart Flex technology adapts to the curve of the windshield for the best wipe possible. And to prevent clogging from snow and ice, the Stealth Hybrid’s framework is shrouded by a sleek, aerodynamic cover, which also converts airflow over the vehicle into downforce, to help maintain windshield contact and reduce lift and vibration during windy weather and at highway speeds. The Stealth Hybrid’s patent pending spring loaded design and weatherproof construction provides superior windshield contact to give you streak-free, quiet wipes, time after time, during the most severe weather conditions.

Stealth Hybrid Smart Flex Wiper Blades are available in all popular sizes, and Michelin’s EZ-LOK connector system makes installation easy. Adapters are included to install these wiper blades to hook, side pin, top lock and side lock style wiper arms.
