Acura Integra Hatchback 1994-2001, Rear Trailer Hitch with Receiver Opening by CURTŪ. These trailer hitches allow the use of equalizing hitches to transfer excess tongue weight to the front axle of the vehicle. You can also get a removable ball mount. This means the hitch ball and its ball mount can be removed and stowed when not trailering. A hitch receiver is also a handy place to mount a bicycle rack, cargo carrier or other receiver-mounted accessory. A receiver-mounted winch or step are good examples.
- Replaces factory bumper-mounted ball
- Allows use of receiver-mounted accessories
- Upgrade factory-mounted receivers to higher weight class
- Permits use of equalizing hitches
- Choose hidden or exposed receiver tube
- Installation kit included
Fitment Note: Minor Fascia Trim Required.
If your vehicle already has a factory-mounted hitch receiver, it may not be rated to tow the trailer youd like to. Bearing in mind the Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) rating of your vehicle, you may wish to upgrade the OEM receiver with one of higher capacity. Choose between a "hidden" receiver that lurks right under the bumper, or a hitch receiver that sets lower to the ground and allows the use of a ball mount with less drop.120.02 132.02

Fairly simple installation on 2010 TSX. Tight fit. Actual installation took twice as long as estimated. Took about an hour and a half because you do have to get the mufflers out of the way and you also have to cut the heat shields that are down there. You definitely see it down there, and it cuts down on the sleekness of the car.Was this review helpful for you? I was originally expecting that this wiring kit would work hand in hand with the Curt trailer hitch itself, and have the connection somewhere on the hitch. Turns out it is meant to be installed & stored in the interior of the vehicle, where the wiring is pulled out through the lip of the rear hatch door, down to the trailer hitch when needed. When not in use, the wiring is easily stored away & out of sight in the tire jack area. This set up is OK for me since I won't be using a trailer very often. I use my hitch mostly to carry my bikes on a hitch mounted rack. However, for someone who uses a trailer more often & is looking for convenience & a nice appearance, you may want some type of additional 4-post connection kit that can be attached to the hitch, and wired back (hidden) to the interior connection described here rather than through the hatch door. Was this review helpful for you? No complaints here about the product. It fit exactly as it should & looks great. The actual installation was a bit more difficult than described because of the tailpipe lowering & shields dismantling which made it cumbersome, but that's all.Was this review helpful for you? YesNo
