THULE® 871XT - Fairing (38")

Subaru WRX / WRX STI 4 / 5 Door Normal Roof 1993-2001, 38" Fairing by Thule®. The square load bars on your roof rack can create drag and wind noise that can be annoying and tiring as you cruise down the road. The Thule Fairing attaches to the front load bar for improved aerodynamics and reduced noise. Square load bars can create irritating wind noise, which can be especially bothersome on long trips and the reason why Thule developed the AeroBlade load bar. But if you've got square load bars don't despair, because the Thule Fairing will quiet your ride and add aerodynamic style. The Thule Fairing attaches to the front load bar and rests on the roof of the vehicle, to prevent air from flowing between the roof and the load bar. The result is less drag and dramatically reduced wind noise.

The Thule Fairing attaches to Thule square or Rapid Aero Bars with rugged clips for a secure installation. The rigid support brackets ensure the fairing won't collapse or flap around. Foam pads attached to the bottom of the brackets rest on anti-scuff film that is attached to the vehicle roof, to prevent any damage to the vehicle's finish. And the fairing won't interfere with the installation of any Thule rack accessories, so you'll get all the Fairing's advantages and still be able to haul all your gear.

Each Thule Fairing comes complete with everything needed for installation, including detailed instructions. The limited lifetime warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product, and warrants the product against manufacturer's defects in materials or workmanship.

Note: The Thule Fairing is not compatible with the AeroBlade load bar.
