It installs between the upper and lower intake manifold, where it will increase runner length and reduce air inlet temperature, for added horsepower. The spacer also increases manifold to valve cover clearance so you can install aftermarket valve covers and rocker arms. This spacer is CNC machined from a custom phenolic fiber material and comes with new bolts, gaskets and installation instructions.

Easily installed between the upper and lower intake manifold, this spacer increases power 2 ways: First, adding the spacer effectively lengthens the intake manifold runners, which helps maintain air velocity and creates a "ram air" effect into the intake ports. Second, the spacer dramatically reduces the heat transfer from the lower to the upper intake manifold, which in turn reduces the inlet air temperature. Cooler air is denser and contains more oxygen and more oxygen in your engine's air intake charge means better combustion, resulting in greater engine output.
