To my surprise, bug shield had survived. I followed directions very carefully. Had to do some drilling but nothing major. Bug shield went on right the 1st time. Has been on truck for about a week. The hardest part was getting it centered. I am really impressed with the quality. For the price, you can't beat it. The big plus for me was that everybody has the smoked bug shield on their truck. I just put it on my Midnight Blue '96 Legacy a few hours ago. It fits perfectly and looks great, as I'm sure it would on all second generation Legacys. Why not advertise it for the '95s & '96s as well as '97 thru '99? As far as I can tell, they all have the same shaped hood."
