Coverking's Car Covers are available in three materials: Coverguard, Triguard or Coverbond 4. Known for high durability and strength, each of them is intended to give a certain type of protection. See the material descriptions below to help you make your choice.
Coverguard: Recommended for indoor-outdoor use (suitable for outdoor use in light weather only), this cover is valuable when it comes to dust protection. Made of Spunbond Polypropylene, the single-layer material reflects the sun rays.Triguard: Recommended for indoor-outdoor use (suitable for outdoor use only in light or medium weather). This material is a great barrier against dust, dirt, moderate rain, mold and moisture due to its three layers and breathability. It offers inner layer for a soft touch to your car's finish.
Coverbond 4: Recommended for outdoor use, this material is thick and can withstand more severe weather conditions, such as snow and ice. Light hail, dents, dings, nicks and damage from other hazards are not an issue for your car with this four-layer material.

The Coverking company was founded in 1986 in Southern California by an Industrial and Electrical Engineer, that previously worked in Aerospace Defense industry. Utilizing the latest CAD/CAM systems borrowed from Aerospace industry, the company managed to shorten the manufacturing process from nearly a month to nearly a single day. Since its launch, the company made a huge leap and has purchased several automotive companies later, some of which dated back to 1974. The company started with Dash Covers products and extended its products line with Custom Floor Mats, Custom Car Covers, Custom Seat Covers and Custom Sunshields. Growing production volumes did not change the company's main focus – creating high quality products that will serve their best to the customers and their vehicles.

I am happy with the material but it is not waterproof. In a 20 min rain the car will be wet under the cover, in a quick shower it does a good job at keeping your car dry. Another note is with a universal cover the wind will remove it quickly as it is not a tight fit even with 4 full gallon containers holding it down."
