Today's active lifestyles and demanding enthusiasts require products that are easy to use, perform as promised, and look good in the process. The Circuit Roof Bike Rack delivers on all counts. The Circuit is the perfect bike rack for the cyclist that's always on the go. It loads and unloads quickly, without tools, and provides the security and stability necessary to ensure your bike transports and arrives safely. The Circuit is also ideal for the enthusiast who wants more than just functionality. The Circuit, with its AeroHead low-profile reinforced head, will complement whatever vehicle it's mounted on, with a combination of aerodynamics and style.
The SecureSkewer secures the bike's forks quickly and easily. Just place the fork dropouts onto the skewer, and then tighten the ratcheting nut until the skewer lever closes with some resistance. The skewer can be locked with a Thule One-Key lock cylinder (sold separately). The rear wheel rests securely in the integrated wheel cradle, with a high wall design that provides added protection and the perfect fit beneath the wheel. A ratcheting strap quickly and gently secures the rear wheel to the cradle. Both mounting points are attached to a "D" shaped low profile aluminum tray made from corrosion-resistant aluminum to withstand the elements.
The Circuit attaches to all Thule rack systems, round bars and most factory racks, without the need for any tools. To keep your trunk clutter free, we recommend that you transport your front wheel on the roof with the Thule Wheel On wheel carrier (sold separately). A Thule roof carrier protects your bike from road dirt better than hitch or trunk racks. And the stable and secure roof rack attachment also gives you the versatility to add other accessories to the base rack.
The Thule Circuit Roof Bike Rack comes with everything required for installation, including detailed instructions. The limited lifetime warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product, and warrants the product against manufacturer's defects in materials or workmanship.
Fitment Note: Bike must come equipped with a quick release front skewer. This carrier is not compatible with fork dropouts less than 5/32" (4mm) or greater than 13/32" (10mm) thick, and the dropouts must be 3 15/16" (100mm) apart. This carrier is limited to bikes weighing no more than 37.5 lbs. No more than 2 Circuit carriers can be mounted to a factory rack.159.95

I received my bike rack ahead of schedule and in perfect condition. Directions were easy to follow. This is my first bike rack, so I didn’t know that for a girl’s boardwalk type bike you need a separate frame adapter, so the bike will rest nicely on the rack. I wish the sales rep on the phone would have suggested this, but I ordered one, and it arrived soon enough. The other item I wish I had purchased when ordering the rack is the locking trailer hitch lock. This allows you to lock the rack when traveling, so thieves can’t steal your rack and bikes! The bike rack comes with a typical screw that is attached and removed with a wrench. The screw is tightened through the hitch on my Jeep, through the threaded adapter, and goes about half way through. The locking one goes all the way through, which in my mind made it feel more secure. I ordered the lock, and it works nicely. I have a two-inch hitch, so I had to use the adapter that comes with the rack. It is held on with one small screw. This was concerning to me, but I was assured by the sales rep that it is more than enough to hold the rack securely to my hitch. The rack folds as advertised, so you can open the rear hatch on your vehicle. The rack seems heavy duty, and the bikes ride nicely. This company follows up with emails and is very thorough. I will purchase from them in the future. Was this review helpful for you? YesNo(5)APPEARANCEEASE OF INSTALLATIONPRICE/VALUEQUALITYTHULE® - Doubletrack Hitch Bike Rack2012 Ford Focus

Rack is very sturdy, does not bounce as all on a 1 1/4" hitch. Assembly was a snap and I like the way the bike fits on it. I still have full access to my hatch with bike on but not when it is in the upright storage position. Was this review helpful for you? Once the rack is installed, it holds bikes securely in place and makes theft difficult. I had some problems installing the rack the first time and the instructions were of marginal help. I could not attach the trunk hooks without opening the trunk, once I attached the hooks it was just a matter of adjusting the cables to achieve the proper fit. The rack's size and weight make it difficult to handle while installing. I did not have any problems with trunk dents reported by some users. Two light weight folks could install it easily. Despite the initial installation problems, I recommend this bike rack for anyone that cannot use the trailer hitch version. Was this review helpful for you? I was amazed at the ease of installation of this product. I took my time and read the directions carefully. When I tested it out with my bike, it seemed secure. It comes with a bike stabilizer and a strap for extra securing of the bike. The only thing, I wish it had was a strap to keep the front wheel of the bike from moving. But I secured it with a bungee cord that I provided. Good value for the money. Was this review helpful for you? YesNo
