Trailering puts a strain on your towing vehicle. And it can put a real strain on your nerves if you’re not set up right. You need a properly-engineered hitch with the appropriate rating for the weight of your fully-laden trailer. And that hitch includes a receiver, a ball mount and a ball, and an electrical connection for the tail lights. If your trailer is big enough, add in a trailer brake controller and the wiring to it, and perhaps a weight-distributing hitch. All that gear needs to be installed and rigged by someone knowledgeable in trailering. Hidded Hitch has a hitch receiver for your vehicle that will allow you to tow the maximum amount permitted by the vehicle manufacturer safely. They also have hitch balls and ball mounts for every class of towing, and a full catalog of other gear that will make your trailering as safe and as easy as possible.

It was real easy to install and looks great on my 2011 Toyota Matrix! I would definitely tell friends to get a hitch from CARiD.

Easy to Install
March 14, 2013 | Posted by | 2012 Jeep Liberty (Gainesville, FL)

Installation was easy but took some time. I probably could've installed it a lot quicker, but I'm picky with wire runs and took my time to run the wires so they are hidden and neat. My recommendation and caution is make sure your ground point is solid and clean for proper connection.

Installation was very quick and easy. I haven't had a chance to tow anything yet, but I know that when I do, there won't be an issue.

The hitch is everything they promised. If reinstalling the sound shield, you can cut a smaller hole to fit the hitch thru, but don't bolt up till after you bolt up the hitch, and you will get a better looking job. That way you'll get a 4-8 inch hole.

Purchased this item online with the expectations that I would have it on the car in a couple of hours. I followed the online video for installation and the hardest part ended up being placing the hitch on the frame with only two hands. With my wife's 2 minutes of help to hold up the hitch to the frame, we actually had the job done in less than an hour from start to finish. Great item.

Great Ball Mount
October 24, 2012 | Posted by | 2011 Dodge Journey (Valley Stream, NY)

Quality, well made. This appears to be forged - heavy - looks and feels like it could tow a tank. Painted baked enamel finish is tough. Great Service, Fast Delivery and Right Product.

Class 5 Ball Mount
October 6, 2012 | Posted by | 2005 Ford Excursion (L\'Ancienne-Lorette, QC)

It does the job that it is designed to do. It slides in to the receiver without a problem, holds the ball correctly, and holds enough weight to do the job.
