Dodge Challenger Coupe 1971, Door Pillar, Left by GoodmarkŪ. The frame is the backbone of your classic car, the starting point to which everything else is attached. If your frame is rusted the structural integrity of your car can be compromised, and if the car has been in a collision the frame may be bent, which can negatively affect any components attached to the frame: the body, drivetrain and suspension. Don't risk basing your restoration on questionable frame parts. Goodmark has the quality reproduction subframes and frame rails you need to start your car off right.

Anyone in the restoration hobby is familiar with the phrase "frame up restoration". It's used to describe a restoration where the vehicle is completely disassembled down to the bare frame, before being reassembled with new or reconditioned parts. The implication is that the frame is a vehicle's most basic element, the foundation upon which the rest of the car is built. Therefore it makes sense to ensure the frame is solid and dimensionally correct before proceeding any further with a restoration.
A rusty or bent frame won't support the body properly, potentially throwing off the alignment of the body panels. The drivetrain may not align correctly on such a frame, possibly causing vibration , shifting difficulties, and component misalignment. And most importantly for vehicle operation, a rusty or bent frame may not allow the wheels to be properly aligned, and the car may end up handling dangerously and prematurely wearing tires.
Trying to straighten an accident damaged or rusted frame is only asking for problems. Even if the dimensions are only a little bit off parts won't fit right and correct wheel alignment will be impossible. You can end up with the same type problems with a used frame or a cheap replacement. You don't know the history of a used frame and the vehicle it came from could have also been in an accident. And a cheap replacement frame could be poorly made. To make sure your restoration has a sound foundation, you need a quality reproduction frame from the restoration experts at Goodmark.
Restoring cars isn't just a business for the people at Goodmark, they're also car enthusiasts and restorers just like you, and they wouldn't make anything they wouldn't install on their own cars or trucks. Each frame component is CAD/CAM designed to make sure it exactly replicates the original part, and then it's manufactured with the most modern tooling. Each design is test fit to make sure it looks and fits perfectly. Many Goodmark parts have been approved by the manufacturers of the original equipment and are licensed to be sold as genuine replacement parts.
Goodmark has subframes and frame rails for many popular classic and muscle cars. These panels are dimensioned to exactly replace your originals with the same gauge steel to ensure structural integrity. Goodmark also has all the related parts needed to restore this area of your classic to concours condition.126.32Brand: Goodmark Part Number: GMK2120604701L UPC: 840314135759
GoodmarkŪ was founded in 1991 by car enthusiasts, restorers and collectors just like you. They recognized that there was a need for quality restoration parts, especially sheet metal parts, if the restoration of our beloved American classics was to continue. Since that time, Goodmark has created a complete line of sheet metal, trim parts, and accessories for popular cars like the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang, and for previously difficult to restore cars like the Dodge Challenger and Plymouth Barracuda. Goodmark uses CAD/CAM (computer aided design and computer aided manufacturing) software and modern tooling and manufacturing techniques to create parts that are identical to factory original for perfect fit and finish. Quality parts tooled and manufactured by Goodmark are enabling many more American classic and muscle cars to return to the road, looking just as fine as the day they rolled off the assembly line.Product Reviews (10)

Great stamping of bumper, all little nuances, as the dimple for the backup lights and the flat on the top of the hole for jacking up the car are all there. Great plating job, could be show quality. Was this review helpful for you? It was first time I ordered through CARiD but was pleased with the quality of the part, as well as the availability. My normal outlet for Camaro parts was out of stock with a several week wait time. Thanks, CARiD! DaveWas this review helpful for you?
