These parts are a good value. They are quality products, made of similar materials to the original equipment (OE) part, but not exactly the same. They allow you to get a replacement product that will function just like the OE part at a discounted price. These parts have no certifications or third party evaluations but they are covered under the 1-year warranty.
These parts are manufactured by a reputable factory. They are very close to OE quality and will function just like the OE part. They do not have certifications from CAPA nor are the facilities that manufacture them inspected on a regular basis, however these parts carry an independent certification that ensures the product's quality and performance.
NSF Certified. When you see a K-Metal product that is marked as NSF, it means that it was approved by NSF International, an accredited certification body that tests products utilized for vehicle repair to ensure they maintain the integrity of the original collision management system. All the products that meet requirements of the Standard P377, which governs NSF's lighting certification program, are guaranteed by NSF to provide high quality of performance in terms of fit, form and function. CAPA Certified. These parts are made by manufacturers that have submitted their products, facilities and manufacturing processes for review and inspection by an independent testing laboratory. Products are inspected and tested for quality, performance, integrity, corrosion resistance, material properties, fit and finish, among other things.
