From EOM street replacement pads and discs to performance brake kit upgrade kits right through to world class motorsport pads, all products are manufactured in the Project-Mu plant in Ibaraki, Japan.
The Project-Mu factory has five 400 tonne and three 100 tonne press machines for the manufacturing process and also has two purpose built brake dyno’s for testing and evaluation purposes. Project-Mu has in place strict ISO9001 quality requirements systems.
Project-Mu have a rich history in Motorsport both in Japan and Australasia. Project-Mu supply brakes to Japanese GT, Touring Car and Endurance Racing and many other racing categoriesin Japan.
In July this year, a Toyota Supra HV-R Hybrid race car won the prestigious Tokachi 24-hour race in Japan using Project-Mu brakes without needing a brake pad change!
In Australia, Project-Mu pads are included on the V8 Supercar ‘control brake list’ due to their wide spread use when the market was ‘un-controlled’. Most winning teams now use Project Mu to give themselves the advantage over the competition
The 2007 Bathurst 12-hour race was also won using Project-Mu pads and again the car went the entire race distance without needing a pad change. Project Mu is also the pad of choice for racing globally including WRC, Nascar, WTCC, WTA, BTCC, ATCM, D1 Drifting, and more!
Another example of the specialist nature of Project-Mu is the D1 drift pad produced for the rear of drift cars to give the addition performance required, coupled with our unique twin-input “side-b” rear caliper it performs like no other.
